Will the iPhone Air lose more than 60% of its value by June 30, 2026?
According to new data from SellCell, Apple’s iPhone Air has become the most rapidly depreciating iPhone model released since 2022. Within just the first ten weeks after launch, it lost 47.7% of its value — far worse than the iPhone 17 series average (−34.6%), the iPhone 16 (−39%), and even the aging iPhone 14 (−36.6%). Demand for the Air is extremely low; reports of halted production have accelerated its price decline.
Conditions
Resolves to “Yes” if, by June 30, 2026, SellCell or another widely recognized resale-market aggregator reports that the average resale value of the iPhone Air (any condition classified as “good” or equivalent) has dropped to 40% or less of its original retail price (i.e., a depreciation of ≥ 60%). Otherwise — NO.
