Russia is preparing to introduce “Molniya,” a new national messenger designed to support communication, social content, payments, cross-border commerce, and business services. Developed by Russian firms Red Soft and Passion, “Molniya” aims to offer a secure, modern platform optimized for users active in the global digital ecosystem. According to the project’s press service, the messenger is planned for launch in early 2026.
