Will Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin hold an in-person meeting before November 30, 2026?
On September 2, 2026, Trump said he remains open to another summit with Putin but wants it tied to the moment Moscow and Kyiv are ready to move toward a peace agreement. Their last in-person meeting took place in Alaska in August 2025. US-mediated negotiations have produced little progress, though the Kremlin said on September 1 that a trilateral meeting of Putin, Xi Jinping and Trump was discussed, with the APEC summit in Shenzhen on November 18-19 named as a possible venue. This market evaluates whether the two leaders meet face to face before the end of November.
Conditions
Resolves "Yes" if Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin take part in a meeting at the same physical location at any time between September 4, 2026, 00:00 UTC and November 30, 2026, 23:59 UTC, and that meeting is confirmed as a bilateral or multilateral meeting between them by an official statement or publication of the White House or the Kremlin. Telephone calls, video calls, meetings attended only by their representatives or envoys, and joint presence at a multilateral event without an announced meeting between the two leaders do not count. Otherwise — "No".
