Will Kazakhstan become a satellite exporter by 2026?
Kazakhstan is entering a new phase of its space ambitions. In January, the Minister of Digital Development and AI announced that the country’s satellite manufacturing complex is ramping up production and preparing its first-ever exports of domestically built satellites. The plan includes at least six Earth-observation satellites and up to $75 million in export contracts, marking Kazakhstan’s most advanced high-tech export to date and supporting its push to become a regional space and connectivity hub.
